The brief
Compassionate Connections provides healing-centered and accessible yoga to BIPOC communities. They organized a plant-based yoga retreat that held activities like tea tasting, elevated yoga, and herbal workshops.
Various marketing materials were designed to promote this event across different platforms.
Initial concepts and explorations
Before starting, the client provided a starting point that she created on Canva. She initially wanted the visual style to be clean and minimal.
After learning more about the goals and activities Compassionate Connection’s retreat had to offer, I began conceptualizing various visual directions.
Color and Typography Explorations
After the client decided to combine ideas from two concepts, I continued to sketch different layouts and experimented with different color palettes and typographical approaches.
